Ibrahim Yahaya

Professor Yahaya Zayyana Ibrahim is a distinguished Nigerian Academic with specialization on Geospatial Analysis and Environmental Management. He currently serves as the Director of Academic Planning at the African Aviation and Aerospace University (AAAU) in Abuja, Nigeria.
He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geography from Bayero University Kano, Nigeria, and obtained his PhD in Environmental Remote Sensing from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
With expertise in Remote Sensing and Environmental applications of Geospatial Technology, Professor Ibrahim plays a key leadership role in shaping the academic direction of one of Africa’s premier and emerging institution with focused on aviation, environmental sciences and aerospace education. He is happily married with children.
